This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the GarageWODs mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").   • Fitness & Health Data: Workouts you log, personal records (PRs), exercise history, and other fitness-related content you voluntarily submit.
  • User-Generated Content: Posts, comments, WODs, photos, and other content you share within the community.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including features used, pages viewed, and time spent.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Communications: Messages you send to other users or to our support team.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and provide the Service.
  • Enable community features such as sharing workouts and connecting with other athletes.
  • Personalize your experience and surface relevant content.

  • With Other Users: Content you post publicly (WODs, comments, profile info) is visible to other users of the Service.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GarageWODs, our users, or others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Health & Fitness Data

GarageWODs may access health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit or Google Fit only with your explicit permission. We will not use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. Health data is used solely to enhance your in-app fitness tracking experience and is never sold.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@garagewods.app. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
